Ayurvedic Therapeutic Specialist:

Criteria - Understanding the foundation of Ayurveda. Knowledge of various herbs, their properties, and their therapeutic uses in treating ailments. Skills in administering Panchakarma, Shirodhara and Abhyanga. Ability to create personalized dietary plans based on individual needs, including balancing the doshas through food. Advising on daily routines and seasonal routines for optimal health and well-being. Understanding the use of Ayurvedic techniques for specific health issues, such as stress, digestive disorders, and chronic illnesses. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, understanding their concerns, and educate them about Ayurvedic practices. Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand how Ayurvedic treatments affect the body. Adherence to ethical standards in treatment approaches maintaining guests confidentiality. Commitment to ongoing education in Ayurveda, attending workshops, and staying updated with current research. Ability to integrate physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of health in therapeutic practices. Candidate must have Diploma in Ayurveda Panchakarma.


Full time (39h a week) position Monday-Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4pm

Ayurvedic massage therapist: 

Criteria -  • Administering of a range of Ayurvedic therapies, including but not limited to Abhyanga (oil massage), Shirodhara (scalp therapy), Panchakarma (detoxification), and other traditional treatments. • Accepting own accountability •Maintain personal hygiene standards •Maintain privacy of service user •Work ergonomically •After treatment, assist guests to clean up, wash them • Work along Ayurvedic Consultant, take order on prescribed therapies for guests that need to be conducted • Maintain accurate client records and document treatment results and progress. • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Ayurveda to ensure the highest quality of care. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated approach to wellness. • Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. • In case of no guests present in the Centre, Management will order to assist in housekeeping duties, such us, maintaining cleanness in communal areas, assisting in dining area. Qualifications: • Certified Ayurvedic Therapist with relevant training and education from a recognized institution. • In-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic practices • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Empathetic and compassionate attitude towards clients. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Prior experience is preferred.

Part - time (20h a week)

Kitchen Assistant / Household Staff:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and serving Ayurvedic meals as suggested by the Ayurvedic Consultant.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.

  • Assist with kitchen inventory management, including stocking ingredients and utensils.

  • Ensure all food safety protocols are followed.

  • Support in cleaning and organizing kitchen equipment and utensils.

  • Collaborate with chefs and staff to ensure timely meal preparation.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the centre's premises, including treatment rooms, common areas, and guest accommodations.

  • Assist in managing laundry and linen services.

  • Support staff in decision-making regarding household supplies and managing inventories.

  • Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of Ayurvedic treatment tools and equipment.

  • Provide assistance to guests and staff as needed to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

  • Follow hygiene and safety protocols in all tasks.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Training in HACCP, infection control is preferable.

  • Experience in a kitchen environment preferred.

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Prior experience or interest in Ayurvedic lifestyles is a plus.

  • Prior experience in household maintenance or housekeeping.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.

  • Discretion and professionalism in dealing with guests and staff.

General Manager:

Role Overview:
The General Manager to oversee the overall operation, strategic planning, and growth of the Arunachala Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. They ensure the delivery of high-quality Ayurvedic treatments, foster excellent customer service, manage staff, and drive business development to achieve financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the centre's services and client base.

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments, including therapies, reception, finance, and administration.

  • Maintain high standards of Ayurveda treatment procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Manage staff, therapists, and administrative personnel.

  • Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and cost control measures.

  • Promote the centre's services through marketing initiatives and community engagement.

  • Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction to foster repeat business and positive reviews.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Ayurveda and the Wellbeing industry.

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, healthcare professionals, and partners.

  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are upheld at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in managing wellness, hospitals, care centres, preferably Ayurveda or similar holistic practices, and a genuine interest in complementary means of wellbeing.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of Ayurvedic treatments, protocols, and industry standards is preferable/of interest

  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.

  • Customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • A love of an enquiry into how to feel happy and healthy.
